Welcome to the SheltAir Community Outreach Website! As a lifelong resident of the Town of Babylon and a business owner in our community, I am honored to introduce our company to you. The Holland SheltAir Aviation Group is a privately held company named after its founder Gerald M. Holland. We own and operate 11 FBO’s (Fixed Based Operation’s) throughout Florida and New York. Our five locations in New York include Republic Airport in Farmingdale, MacArthur Airport in Islip, Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach, LaGuardia Airport in Flushing, and Plattsburgh International Airport in Plattsburgh. Our corporate headquarters are located in Fort Lauderdale. We are planning to make a significant investment in our region’s economy by upgrading our facilities at Republic Airport and have put together this website to provide you with some information about us, about what an FBO is, about Republic Airport, and about our proposed project.
